Edited by: Victor Vision on 02/04/2008 12:51:28 Good timing, Morris and nicely written OP.
You are aware though that TT openly admitted to being part of the GH-SC, right? Also you know that TT never made a secret about borrowing a mothership?
Still your post was a nice read.
And I am sure we both agree that TT is a valueable part of the eve community. He keeps the crowds entertained. What more could you ask from anyone in a videogame...

Even though my fingers are itching I will control myself and not add any more fuel to the fire.
Maybe you should gag yourself a little more as well, TT. You have had enough attention for today, have you not?

.. Little tip for you there Jim, might want to tone down the bitterness while you still have the people on your side
Ah. I would enjoy some drama between Molle and his BoB alliance more.
And it seems TT is in a posting frenzy and can not be stopped.

TT also mentioned it himself on various occasions. Maybe some people decided to overhear that. Like DC said, sometimes people tend to ignore facts because they want to believe something else. Besides, others who were "in on it" might have thought and still might think they were/are safe from any and all damages due to their knowledge.
I think there is two common mistakes many players in EVE make concerning scams and thievery.
1) Internet game friendships. Internet game friendships are mostly less binding than RL friendships. And even in RL friendships betrayal can happen. How often do we hear "...BUT I have known her/him for YEARS and TRUSTED her/him. How in the world could she/he do this to me...". At the same time we still think this will not happen to us, only to others. That might be a mistake.
2) Famous people. It seems to be part of human nature to trust famous people more than the average people from around the corner. I do not think this is wise. They are in no way better or more honest than your average Jim Doe. At least that is the way I see it. The revelations in this thread about TT, as well as the EIB scam which used positive vouches from famous people hint in the direction to be carefull. Chribba is above all doubts of course
Originally by: Ponderous Thunderstroke oh, and Hahahahahahahahah to people that think DigiComm isn't GHSC anymore. Go ahead, keep believing the hype.
Are we not all GH-SC somehow? What if GH-SC approaches you with a cool "mission" that will be oh so secret and oh so profitable? You might even get an oh so epic thread and become oh so famous. Tempted?
Recruitment for informants/spies/agents/operatives or whatever you want to call those involved in undercover work is surprisingly easy in EVE. Might be because the creation of alts is quick and hassle free. Also running a char in this field of business opens a new playing field in EVE, that has a special appeal to bored EVE players or those who just want to try out something new. In the end, it is all a game.

Talk to Grimpak about this. He used to argue with himself in threads.
